My First Blog: Life Between LA, London and My Two Babies (One Human, One Invention)

Hi, I'm Zeiynab, and this is officially my first blog post!!

I’ve been meaning to do this for a while, and now feels like the right time to start sharing more of the journey. I moved to LA earlier this year, and it’s been a big and exciting shift. Right now though, I’m back in London, looking after my daughter while pushing forward with everything we’re building at FirstTuch. Her nursery is in LA, so while we’re here in London, I’m full-time mom and full-time founder, giving both the attention they deserve.

Things are moving quickly in LA. I’ve been busy attending networking events and pitching FirstTuch. I was especially excited to win a Start-up Valley pitch recently - such a big moment for me and the brand!

When we’re back in LA, my baby girl goes to nursery and is settling in so well. Watching her grow and thrive while building Adori has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my life. There’s a lot happening, but it’s all moving with purpose and intention.

If you’re new here, I’m 28, a Gemini, born and raised in Hackney by a single mum. I’ve always been a curious thinker, someone who loves understanding how things work, and someone who never quite fit into a standard box. During lockdown, while doing a lot of inner work, I created Adori – a product rooted in connection, inclusion and love. It was the first invention I knew I had to bring to life.

I’m now working towards launching Adori’s Kickstarter campaign early next year (currently looking at February 2026), and I am beyond excited! It feels like everything is building towards something really amazing!
